Let's say you're not quite ready to give up pizza, snacks, and your favorite desserts. Well, I do have some good news on still decreasing some of that stubborn belly fat.
We currently live in an age where we wake up and eat, this on average gives us 16 hours a day to indulge. This usually leads us to excess calories that are generated as fat. While we sleep (8 hours on average) this is considered fasting as we don't eat during this time. Here is how intermittent fasting works! We switch the ratios, fast for 16 hours, eat for 8. Meaning you eat 4-6 hours after waking up for the span of only 8 hours.
- Our body fat is a long-term storage of energy. Due to the fact you will have no nutrients in the body in the morning, all you are using for energy is body fat!
-Growth Hormone production! When we eat in the morning we shut off our production of GH, but when we fast we still produce one of the best hormones towards losing fat and building muscle.
Consuming coffee, sparkling water, and black tea (unsweetened) provides caffeine which is a powerful appetite suppressor, this will not break the fast.
