How To Handle Back Pain
1 out of 5 people experience back pain every month! As a teen, I played 3-5 hours of piano a day, and it got to the point my back would be in horrible pain in just 15 minutes. If you are suffering currently try the following:
1. Rest. Sitting or laying down periodically will help relieve tension, but in excess, it will cause more damage.
2. Heat or chill as this will reduce inflammation
3. Stretching always helps! On top of being aware of your posture. Less slouching and hunching over while sitting will reduce pain
4. Exercise! There are plenty of low back exercises that will help or remove your back pain (Kettle Bell Romanian deadlifts being the safest)
